- <P><B>Step 4 - Spider Visits</B><HR></P>
- <P>This is where you track what spiders have visited your web site, when they
- visited, and what pages they have indexed (or at least looked at). To track
- the spider visits, you need access to your web site log file.</P>

- To begin tracking spider visits, you need to tell Robot-Manager where and how
- to access your log file. Select Tools|Select Access Log Location from the
- main menu to get started.</P>

- <B>1.</B> To order the spider tree in a different order, select Tools|Order
- Spider Visits By from the main menu.<BR>
- <B>2.</B> Use View|Refresh from the main menu to gather new spider visits.<BR>
- <B>3.</B> You can export the spider tree, the raw spider logs, and all of the
- IP addresses. Use File|Export from the main menu.<BR>
- <B>4.</B> To add a new spider to Step 1, select Tools|Add Spider to Step 1 from
- the main menu.<BR>
- <B>5.</B> The last set of log files downloaded via FTP can be found in the
- program directory with the name last_ftp.log.<BR>
- <B>6.</B> Right-click the mouse on the spider tree for more options.</P>
